Mary Kate Steinmiller, a Design & Management graduate from Parsons School of Design, is a stylist, editor and creative consultant in Los Angeles, CA. She is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

She is currently the lead of Brand Experience with Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, CA and oversees all events, marketing, public relations, client relations and social media for the Los Angeles market.

Past clients include Loft, Lou & Grey, Nixon Watches, Popsugar, Goop, Ana Gasteyer, Justin Timberlake, Memorandum and Alice + Olivia.

She was the Brand Director for LHD and The Webster and managed the 360 development of both Laure Heriard Dubreuil's ready-to-wear line and the retailer's brand extensions in home and children’s apparel. 

Mary Kate worked at Ralph Lauren as the Women's Style Editor. She was responsible for the conceptualization for all global style features, trend stories and marketing concepts. She oversaw all creative copy for women's brands in the global digital space. 

She consulted on the launch of Tory Sport. Working closely with the Style Director to style all e-commerce looks for the first collection.

 Mary Kate consulted on the launch issue of Popular TV as the Contributing Fashion Market Editor. In the role, she oversaw all fashion content for the magazine and styled celebrity and fashion feature shoots. 

Previously a ten year veteran of Teen Vogue magazine, she was the magazine’s Senior Fashion Market Editor and Special Projects Editor. At Teen Vogue, she covered the American designer, contemporary, junior, swim and denim markets. Additionally,  she styled fashion features and edited shopping pages. She worked on various Teen Vogue branded commercial licensing projects as a creative consultant including a school supplies line with Staples, a bedding collection with Revman International and a clothing line with Macy’s.  She worked closely with Vogue to plan and execute Teen Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out block party for three years, as well as Back to School Saturday and Fashion University events. 

Mary Kate is featured in the books The Sartorialist, The Sartorialist:Closer, Stylestalker and The Teen Vogue Handbook as well as on Garance DoreThe CoveteurCitifile and The Sartorialist websites. She has been interviewed as a style authority on Access Hollywood LiveTeenNick Top TenExtra and by USA Today, the New York Post and The Daily News.  She has styled promotional segments for Good Morning AmericaThe Today Show and Live with Michael and Kelly.

She has a handmade jewelry line that has retailed at Fred Segal, Henry Bendel, Charlotte Ronson and Delfina.
